| Holbrook, Milcarek Square off in Epic Battle |
Keegen Holbrook (left) and his Rensselaer Bomber teammates
proved to be to strong for Matt Milcarek (below) and the Lowell
Red Devils in what could only be described as an epic battle. An
epic battle that could only materialize on the bowling lanes, not
the wrestling mat, not the football field, nor the baseball diamond.
Holbrook's 238 - 460 led all conference bowlers while Milcarek's
433 was second but unfortunately for the big lefty, he dropped to
sneak by the favored Red Devils 10.5 - 9.5 to claim their first
victory of the season.
Lowell dropped to 0-1 on the young season.

Carly Grover paced all girls with a fine 221-425. The
2-time IHSB all state bowler is off to her best
conference start in her career with a 207 average
through 4 games. Lowell's Rachel Elliot fired a 234
in route to a nifty 384 set.
