Hardluck Holbrook falls to Mighty Mewes in yet
another one for the Ages

Randy Mewes (267-482) led a balanced and potent
KV attack that steamrolled upstart Rensselaer at
Country Lanes in Lowell. Mewes, KV's Junior
anchor, set the tone as he defeated the
conference's hottest bowler, Keegen Holbrook of
Rensselaer, 2 -0. Holbrook fired a 451 set improving
his average to 220, however, his matchplay record
dropped to 3-3.

and Casey Grover (433). The match of the day saw Hebron edge Lowell
11-9. The Hawks improved to 2-1 while Lowell surprisingly falls to 0-2.
Hebron's Emily O'leary's 427 edged KV's Carly Grover (426) for top girls
honors, however, O'leary's efforts were not enough as the lady Red
Devils surprised the 2008-09 Conference Champions 17-3. Lowell was
led Vickie Nichols 381.
