For the second consecutive match
Rensselaer anchor Keegen Holbrook came
up big. This time the quite but dangerous
Holbrook posted a 270-207 - 477 series to
allow the bombers to sneak by defending
conference champions KV. The loss was a
significant blow to KV's hopes of repeating
as conference champions. Alex Sutton led
KV with a 401.
Emily O'leary decided it was time to get back on track after a
couple "less than Emily like" performances. O'leary took no
mercy on the pins or the shell shocked Lowell Red Devils as
she fired games of 254 and 257 for a sensational 511
series. Unofficially, this is believed to be the conference's
best girls two-game performance in it's11-year history.
Congratulations.
O'leary's performance overshadowed Boone Grove's Paige
Kraushaar's 457 series and Rachel Elliot's (Lowell) 429.
