Wow.  This Boone Grove team looked to be every bit as
good as the teams from its past.  The Wolves behind
outstanding performances from Senior John Sawa, Junior
Lane Strohl and sophomore John Yankauskas.  Sawa, the
Wolves all-star catcher on the baseball team, relied on a
consistent breaking ball to over power the pins in route to a
day's best 477 series.  Strohl chipped in with 461 while
Yankauskas contributed a 460.  For Sawa and Yankauskas,
these were both career conference bests.

Other strong performances were turned in by Lowell's Mike
Bafia (453), Lowell's Matt Milcarek (441), and Rensselaer's
Keegen Holbrook (449).
KV Girls take control
Kougars steamroll Wolves to move to 7-1
The battle of the two conference co-leaders turned out to be
a contender beating up on a pretender.  The Kougars behind
their 1-2 punch of Carly Grover (411) and Rachel Ellenson
(406) proved to strong for the Wolves in a 18-2 victory.

Hanover Central's Megan Susko tossed a 345 series to take
third overall on the day.
