semi-final the previous weeks sectional championship with the Hawks.  Hebron took a 15 pin lead into game
2 but the Wolves stormed back for a 315-303 victory.  The Wolves fell to LC in the finals 331-276.  Boone's

Newton finished sixth at 2,589 while Lowell moved up to seventh at 2,572.  Lake Station Edison grabbed
the 5th and final qualifying position at 2,629.
Boone Grove's Mattie Smith led the Suburban contingency at Michigan City with her stellar third place

Central's Kelly Belzeski 198-180 before falling to eventual champion Carly Larson (Merrillville) in the
semi-finals 201-143.   Emily Klotz (Lowell) earned her spot in next week's Fort Wayne Semi-State with her
11th place finish.

On the boys side, no Suburban player found themselves in the stepladder matches but three punched
their tickets to the Fort Wayne Semi-State.  Hanover Central's Kevin Beemster (5th) and Austin Moran
