HANOVER CENTRAL, HEBRON WIN - Faceoff In Best of 9 Rolloff
Hanover Central edged Lowell on a total pins tiebreaker to move to 13-3 while
Hebron routed North Newton to finish at 13-3. The pair then faced off in another
exciting Suburban Conference Best 5 of 9 rolloff to determine the conference
champion.
Hebron jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead before Hanover rallied to win game 4. The
Hawks then moved within one game of the title with a game 5 victory. Leading
4-1, the Hawks looked unstoppable. But, the Wildcats stormed back to win
games 6, 7, and 8 to force a winner take all game 9. The momentum clearly on
the Wildcats side entering the deciding game, shifted quickly, as Hebron came
out on all cylinders, ultimately winning game 9 in a runaway.
